Should I get ION? Please Help

Hi all right now I have a Tippmann A-5, Dye Ultralite 14" w/ Double Trigger, my friends and I are starting a tourament team, I am not sure if I will keep A-5 or not as back up or for recreation (not sure). I dont want to really put $1000 in a gun right now, from a site I know I can get a $20 Discount and freeshipping on Ion to make it $264 which is cheaper also..

But anyways I am a back player would Ion's for touraments work well with a back player? Also are they reliable and dont break down much?

ive had my ion for a while it hasnt given me problems of any sort yet you just got to make sure you keep your bolt clean and lubed up^^ as far as being a back player ions are good for mid and front dont be a loser and stay in back get in the action"lol im joking" anyways...yes ions are all around good guns just make sure to keep them cleaned and lubed and you should be good hope this helps

i got the same question, but wat are some cheaper other guns that would work for tourny. im kinda a back/mid player (witness my ninja skills! :ph34r:

the ion would be a ok back man gun its fast reliable doesnt chop all u need is a 14 or 16 inch barrel ....i want to gett a 14 all american if anyone thinks thats a bad idea tell me

I changed my mind guys, and I decided to try to get a DM4 in the future.. I am talking about once the price goes down $300-400 ;) :D

But I Can't wait until then. I will still love it even if it is considered out of date..
