View Full Version : Ion vs. Another gun around that price

Help me... this will be my second gun. I have been playing for one year. I think its time to upgrade from my spider xtra lol. So throw a few gun choices my way and the pros and cons of each. Thank you for all your help. :D

I UPGRADED from my Spyder Compact to my CCM PUMP. :D Pumps are good skill builders. Otherwise you might want to get a good WGP Autococker of some sort. Ions are way over rated. <_<

ions are WAY overated, they are good for the price but are overated.

They&#39;re over rated because a bunch of newbies who just started playing paintball get them as their first gun and have never used anything else, so they don&#39;t even know what the hell they&#39;re talking about. Give it another year and we&#39;ll be able to give an educated opion on how good the Ion is. All it is is a $300 hunk of plastic stuff, aluminum and some wires and chips. How good can it be? If it was all that Smart Parts wouldn&#39;t be selling it for $300, they&#39;d sell along side the Shocker for $1000+.

1. Arent all guns aluminium, wires, and chips? Yeah, prettymuch.

2. GOOD!! Yeah their way overrated, but only to an extent because they do rock!

I suggest a cocker and ions are the most overated item in the sport of pb.

the ion is really easy to maintain but isnt as cheap or fast as a diablo wrath but from what i&#39;ve heard has a few small easy to fix problems

i would go wit a ion yhea pshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. go wit the 05 pro stock youre best choice
