Whats With The Minion?

Why is a\it a pm6 with slightly different milling and son evil parts on it? It's not even really their gun, it's protos. Can some one tell why they would do this? I just don't understand the point of it.

cause evil did'nt have a real compeditive "super gun" like dye & s.p.... the pimp is a good gun, but heavy & an old design.
so they buy pm6's from dye, mill them up pritty & put on the evil logo... yup, its just body milling & anodizing... thats all evil does & its an "evil" marker.

now, the evil sponsored teams have a great, light, high quality gun to use & evil can make a $ or 2, and look like they have a top of the line product.

Why would Proto do it? They are selling the Minion cheaper than the Pm6 and Proto might lose buisness.. I think it's just stupid but I guess I can't do much about it.

Yeah but they don't completely change the name. They still call it the "Hybrid Shocker" and "Dark Shocker",ect. They didn't just call somthing else. Proto basiclly sold them the blue print and the right. If I owned a pm6 I would be a little pissed. The Minion is also cheaper where as the PL guns sold by Hybrid, Warped Sportz, and Shocktech cost more than the regular gun.

Welcome to the private label. You see, Proto is a subsidary company of Dye Precision. Dye makes the Minions for Evil, and Evil sells them. Pm6 owners should be pissed, a Minion is cheaper and it rocks their gun. A stock Minion is lighter than a DM6 and it doesn't come stock with a UL frame. Minion with UL frame is cheaper than a DM6, and the only thing you lose are the self-cleaning eyes.

both evil and dye/proto make money. for every minion that is sold all thoose companies make some money. also evil prob payed a collusol amount of money for the blueprints.

They didnt buy the blue prints. it's made by dye, evil probably bought the right to sell them however
