I'm thinking about buying an 05 prostock, any thoughts or comments about the marker? or suggestions for upgrades?

I thought it was very heavy after playing a couple hours with it. It was accurate though, I liked that.

Take care of your gear and it will perform great for you. I only suggest that you read up on how to take proper care and know how a cocker operates. Once you have that down, you will be happy with it.

Weight, you can always get a lighter body or even go with a micro-cocker if you want to get the most out of an electro-cocker.

05 is more eblade friendly then the previous year and has addressed some of the exposed hose areas from the grip to the solenoid.

The 05 is antother great marker from WGP.There are many upgrades for it like the eblade e2 or the worrblade. Some more are the nexus ram and qev's.You will probably want to put a b arrel kit on it and i suggest the redz pepper stikz(designed for cockers)or a freak kit.Im pretty sure the 05 already comes with a delrin bolt but if it doesnt get one.And also a delrin back block.Thats pretty much it im sure u will love ure 05 prostock.

i have a prostock cocker and it is really nice. I use it as my backup but when i do play with it i have no problems. Upgrades that you will want right away is a barrel. WGP is getting better with their stock barrels but still, a Smart Parts barrel is always nice to add. If you have the cash a barrel kit is worth the money. I have a freak kit and a kaner kit both are very accurate. You'll want to pur a drop forward on it, any drop and on/off works well. Also an electric hopper, the Evo II is nice but if you dont want to spend $65 a revvy works just fine. Other than a barrel, drop, and hopper you wont need many ups right away.
Eventually if you want you could upgrade the reg to something like a Dye Hyper, or a Messiah. Also a Superfly bolt helps a lot.

i'm not too worried about barrels or hoppers. for hoppers i have the halo b, and for barrels i have a hammerhead with for fins, an evil pipe kit, and a freak barrel with 3 inserts, all of which i've obtained through trade. thanks for the tips though i'll have to look into the regs
