upgrading an ion

i am gettin an ion wat ups should i get on it

A new barrel. And an adjustable feedneck. Impulse threads for both I believe.

go to your local pb shop and get the eclipse qev upgrade if they know how to install it. only 30 $ and gets you up to 24 bps. just need a hopper and compressed air or it wont work.

the solinoid is capped at 17 bps so ther is no possible way that it can go any higher

if there is no way it can go faster than why does mine work fine. the valve opens it up for more airflow and lets it go faster. the soliniod is still going 17 bps, and it thinks the bolt is going 17 bps, but the bolt goes up to 24 bps because more air is flowing through.

then if for some reason the bolt bypass the seloniod and the board (which it cant) then it would be called CPS AFOR cycles per second....since it ant fireing nothing....

well im not really sure, but i got the upgrade installed, and 2 of my local sops can put them in, one of them being evolution sports which is very well know in the inland empire redlands riverside and three of my friends have them installed and our ions can go up to 24 bps i not sure exactly how but they install the upgrade and it makes it go faster, and its not a board , jut an eclipse qev valve.

well i dont know, but the certified guys at the paintball shops say it goes up to 24 balls per second, maby they do somthing else along with the qev, but my ion and my friends ions can go faster than the stock because we tested a stock one against ours. but it does say its capped so im stumped, i just paid the 30 dollars and got a faster gun. sorry for the trouble,

just a question, what does it mean when it cycles, what is a cycle instead of a bps what is the cycle per second?

how many times the gun can cycle, like when a gun shoots, it cycles.

so why does it cycle faster but not shoot more bps faster. cause the site says it can cycle faster with the qev.
