That's right it is. Anyway the Ion is probably better stock for the price. I'm going to tell you though you don't really want a high speed electro as your first marker. The high rates of fire become a crutch and give you the illusion that you have skill when you really don't. When you have disadvantages such as a lower rate of fire your skill builds so you can make up for lower rof with skill. I'd suggest one of the mechanical Spyders such as the Rodeo. You can always upgrade it with an electronic trigger later if you feel the need to.

Get Ion, spyders r known for inaccurate barrels and they crap out before an Ion will, 6 friends of mine actually went form Spyders to Ions, 2 had spyder pilots, they wasted their money...... but as your first marker I suggest the Ion again. better to buy a good gun first then to waste money on crappy guns, jsut don't let the BPS go to your head. this is coming form someone without a job and my parent's don't hand me cash.

Like so, the Ions can make your 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd gun. Ahh, money saving.

Ions haven't even been out a year yet. You or any one else for that matter have no idea how long they will last. I used the same Spyder for 4 years and would still be using the same one if I hadn't started playing pump.

heres how you save money: buy the spyder electra 05, its cheaper and its *better*, you wouldnt regret buying one of those, trust me my cousin bought one and we took it out on the field for the first time a week ago and it was WICKED SICK, ive played with an ion before and it feels like your holding a plastic toy, if i had the money i would definetely get the electra 05, and if you dont like the rocking trigger you can easily put a different trigger on it, and if you get the right loader (halo B or above) they are faster than an ion and more durable than ions (now really, you didnt see them making the golden gate bridge out of plastic did you? they made it out of metal because its *more durable than plastic*) this gun is definetely an ion contender, thanks again spyder!

heres were to buy it for pretty cheap - http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERS...OYAAAEDao2PrM0s (http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=Nom_hnlQDnW_Ezvp-_R_LnOZPvjb3OJSWBo=?ProductID=HmPAqArbeOYAAAEDao2P rM0s)

dont pay attention to the "out of stock" signal because they resuply every 2 weeks

and the only upgrade you would have to make to it is a lower feed neck and (maybe) a different barrel, smart parts progressive 14-16in should work fine

I have a spyder fenix which performes nicely for me. The acs delrin acs bolt is amazing. The ion is nice to but if you want to pay some extra money for a halo for you thing and a n2 tank go ahead. But if you are runing low on cash and need a good gun get the pilot.
