# of IONS!!

After seeing all the ion threads i was wonderin actually how many ppl have ions.

I won 5 of them in a tournament. I sold 4 to cover my teams costs and I kept the 5th. I made it look cool with my lighter. hehehe stupid plastic body hehehe

The ion is average at best. I have one, but I would never use it unless I was joking around. My angel rocks it.

i wouldn't want an angel because i cant use the speed (yet) and would be scared to scratch the paint

That's funny, since YOU wouldn't win 5 your whole team MIGHT win 5, but you yourself wouldn't win 5alone sorry to say..
Also if you actully had one, you would know that the body ISNT plastic, and you can tell by feeling and looking at the gun!
And YES I do have a Ion, they rock and there NOT plastic..

OMG!!! u gotta be kidding me u think the ions body ISN'T plastic??!! LMAO!! thats hillarious the shell is plastic and the internals are aluminum (havn't stripped 1 so not sure) the ion's body is made of plastic and they say "high quality polymer plastic", besides man how old are you to not know that, EVERY1 knows that! LOL!!

to halt the direction of this post the ION's body is not "plastic" nor is it "polymer" the body is aluminum covered by a "polymer" shell the polymer is infact plastic...the difference between the IONs shell and lets say a plastic spoon is that the IONs shell is reinforced by carbon fiber among numerous other denser materials. the ULE 'mag bodies are also made out of a polymer...but the ULE is strong enough to hold up a truck. so yes and no the ION is made out of "plastic"

Actually I did win 5. Never question me youngin. I fronted the bill for the team (for stupid people that means I payed for entry and paint), and in exchange I got all the prizes that we won. That was 5 ions. So never question what I say. I'm not some stupid 7 year old. And as for the body, it is a composit material. And It does melt when heated up enough.

Too answer the question (the answer isnt up ther) too many. The ions becoming like Livestrong bands, for a while everyone that doesnt have a better gun's gonan want one, and then they'll either break or go out of style and they'll stop being used. I'd hate to have one and go to a field and paly agaisnt 5 other people with the exact same gun <_< Please no one take offense from this, but I really think people need more variety. It may be a good gun, but i jsut hate that everyone gets them. PLease, smack me however much you want in your posts, lol :D

Alright why does everyone praise the ION. I'm sick of people praising it. Alright. It was great for the first couple of months. But please stop there are enough fourms for you guys to get together and praise the ION. Ya'll should spill the extra money out for a Impulse if you want a new gun. I love those things and you can tune the ###### out of them. Now all you noobs are probably saying what the hell is a Impulse. Its another Smarts marker for about 550 with vision. Worth every penny though. You can make them shoot really nice. I have had enough of this ###### about the ION is a piece of plastic if you want a really good gun for someone getting into tourny ball go out and buy your self the Impulse or a bushy.

not the shockers mr t. Anything but nerve or shocker. If you were planning to put down some money go with the new angel speed. They are cheaper than the DMs and they rip just the same.

Okay, I'm not in on what's hot and what's not among semis, being a pump player and all. ;) I'll take it into consideration when, if ever, I decide to get one and it surely won't be an Ion. :D

I'm just saying it to warn you. they tend to have air flow problems. In fact the nerve was made with a drop off problem that they had to make a special volumizer to fix. Most of the new ones atomatically come with the new part, but still it just goes to show you that they didn't take the time to get it right the first time.

exactly how i feel. for an extra 100$ you can get an evil oman WITH UPGRADES 25bps baby:). so just save up a little more it isnt the god of all guns trust me you would be alot happier with a REAL shocker than one thats trying to be.
