View Full Version : Leak in E2 Solenoid.? HELP?

i installed a e2 trigger on my cocker and when all the leaks were fixed i had 1 left in the solenoid, i talked to everyone else i no with e-cockers and they all have the same leak somewhere in the solenoid, (not the hoses) , help please?

double check to make sure your gasket is seated properly. if that isnt it, you want to make sure you are not overpressureing the solenoid from your LPR

thanks for that, i think my lpr is 2 high, i use co2 though and what you mean by gasket seated properly?.?

He might not have if proper precautions were taken. The rubber gasket inside the solenoid, make sure it is aligned properly. If it gets pinched even slightly it will leak.

co2 will also make it leak if you are rapid firing (doorman... dont give me grief on this lol :D) the co2, as a liquid, can build up in the solenoid and boil in the solenoid causing a pressure spike. if you do not know what your solenoid gasket is, i would recommend taking it to your local store and have them check it out.

LOL, I won't give you grief on this one. I fully agree. Rapid fire with CO2 can be a concern for any marker with a solenoid. Unfortunately even the best precautions can fail .001% of the time ;)

It could be CO2 but also if you take apart the noid there could either be a busted O-ring on the 3-way rod or it could be out of line.
