I was on Opsgear and I saw the A5- real mags that look sweet. I use my A-5 for recreation woods and speedball. I might also play touraments once and a while but not all the time...

I know A-5 might not be best speedball gun but I am using it anyways, I love it.. I was wondering has anyone else replaced the front grip with a magazine?

If you dont know what I am talking about I mean these:

I was wondering if they work good? I am using it for speedball but I like a good looking gun, but sometimes woods recreation and recreation speedball. I thought that would make it look cooler (i like those kinds of things) it still is a grip for your gun I was wondering if they are still good? Maybe even possibly better?

An AK Grip I think would be better than the regular front but maybe it isnt?

I had my front hand grip off my A5 just a few days after I bought it and had replaced it with an M4 Magazine from Ops gear, I have a nice M4 mod on my A5 and I love it.
If you are looking to do speedball and don't have a second/backup paintball gun. then I would get an MP5 mod setup for your A5, it will just make your life easier IMO.
especially if you wanna play speed ball as my M4 is a lil bulky for speed. its your call. I can post pics of mine and links to the MP5 Mod parts if you want....

Wow, where do I start?
Ok, first, for speedball all you really can do is a small, moderate drop forward, a short (10-12 inches sounds good) barrel, a double trigger to shoot a little faster, and maybe an E-Grip to make it actually fast-ish.
All this looks stuff only makes it a worse speedball gun. I love my Tippy and it is the only gun I have that I will never sell, but for speedball they are not the best choice. A mech Spyder can be had for $50 shipped off Ebay and because they are stacked tube rather than single they are much shorter than a Tippy and thus better to keep tight in speedball.

Even for woodsball all that junk does is make it heavier and your arms more tired.
