e1 and e2's are triggers. The e1 is the older one and the e2 is i newer better one, they are electronic triggers.

E1 is an e-trigger. E2 is an E1 with an upgraded board, a Zero B, I think.

No, the E2 has its own board, the Zero B (Zero Bounce) was made for E1 owners to have all the new settings and enhancements that the newer E2 has (v.1.10), Some early E2's though had an older E2 board, so some of those users can buy the Zero B board to get the latest features, or send their board to PE to have it updated for i think $45.00
