TAW Paintball (http://www.tawpaintball.com) presents Shogun: Total War (http://www.tawpaintball.com/shogun.html), a weekend long scenario which will be held at Combat Zone Paintball in Oroville, CA.
Prices:
Registration: $40 pre-reg per person ($55 walk-on and $30 for one day of play)
Paint: $55 a case pre-purchased with pre-reg ($65 and $75 at event depending on grade)
Air: $15 all-weekend HPA and $2-4 co2 fills
Camping: $10 per 10'x30' space (showers and real toilets availible)
Game Itinerary:
Friday
12pm: Check-in, walk-on, and camping opens
Saturday
8:30am: Safety briefing
10am: Game on! (+night play)
5pm: Dinner stand down
7pm: Night play begans
Midnight: Official end of night play
Sunday
8am: Safety briefing
9am: Game on!
3-3:30pm: Final battle!
3:45pm: Awards ceremony and prize giveaways
Papa Bear of Team Short bus has chosen to general Clan Lotus, while I will be heading up Clan Serpent. Come and make a weekend of it ladies and gents. Highlights of the event will include (beyond the normal scenario mayham): sushi cookoff; my wife running around as a geisha; rickshaw combat; paintball sword fights; ritualized pistol duels; and sumo wrestling.
Right now, we have a smack thread going on in all haiku that is up to about 300 posts. This is going to be a great game!
