UPDATED 8-16-05

Here's some new pics.

Here's most of my gear (Masks (Profiler and Spectra), jersey (Dye '03 Core Division black/yellow), Spyder Hammer (see pics below), and other parts not pictured). *Markers are: PMI Trracer (top center), home built cocker (far left), Spyder Victor (center), Spyder Xtra body with internals from my TL+ (right), and PT Xtreme JR (bottom). Yes that's a 3A Paintball 4+3 pack but it's built like a rock! 12v Revvy and gravity hopper are sitting on my Ronin knee pads, a handfull of 10rnd tubes, pistol is sitting on it's Ronin tactical holster*

Here's a couple closeups of the Belsales 3way that I promised. Notice how short this thing is.... and buttery smooth :D *Sorry for the fingerprints*

Top left to right: Spyder TL+, PT Xtreme JR.

Middle left to right: Spyder Victor, custom home built cocker

Bottom: Spyder Hammer

I have a couple other markers currently in the works and there are different upgrades on the shown markers (bottomline on the cocker and Victor... Victor shown with bottomline from the TL+ as I was testing it, etc). When they are finished I hope to get some more pics.... better quality too LOL

++++++ EDIT+++++

Here's a closer pic of my TL+ the way it normally looks ;)

He bought it piece by piece, and cheaply at that.

Doorman
05-14-2005, 01:20 AM
Yep, home built. Piece by piece, scrounged and cut deals left and right to get everything together. You could call it a frankencocker because nothing on there is new except the trigger frame, body, and feedneck. Everything else was pieced together with used parts.

Why thanks hpka365, it's nice to know I offend at least one person with my choice of markers :D Or is it just jealousy rearing its ugly head?

Doorman

Nope, no eblade plans. If I do that I'll probably just build another one ;)

hey man wat kind of barrel that use and how many shoots per sec

Doorman
05-15-2005, 03:41 AM
Depends on which picture. One of the barrels is a boomstick, the other is a J&J ceramic (the all black one). As for bps, I'm not sure... never was one for trying to get the highest ROF.... I probably shoot around 6-10 I'd guess.

wow, doorman, im digging that cocker, do you plan to mill it? i like the all chrome look, but its gonna get scratched like a mofo if you dont anno it

That's a nice collection you have. I have a collection similar to that. I don't use any of it anymore. Eversince I got my CCM in December I haven't used anything else, except my Trracer for a back up. I'll have to take some pics and post the so you guys can check it all out.

Doorman
05-15-2005, 04:01 PM
I'll be getting it milled, but I'm not so sure about ano'ing it. I love the look of it as is. It scratches up a little, but I polish it after every time I play, so that doesn't bother me

After all, it gives me an advantage... on a bright sunny day I can use it as a mirror and blind my opponent before starting a charge LMAO

thevoiceinurhd
05-15-2005, 07:01 PM
You could get a clear anno

*Makes mental note*

How long did it take for the camo job on the Spyder?

Doorman
05-16-2005, 12:24 AM
But a clear ano just isn't the same as the raw aluminum. The pic really doesn't do it justice, this thing is mirror finish and mistaken for chrome quite often :D

The camo on the TL+? Oh c'mon now dye, you should remember from way back when I first started... but if not..... It was an involved process, most of the time it took was in preparing the marker. Spraying it didn't take long at all in total time (spread over three days) approximately 40 minutes. Baking took another 6-8 hours total. But the finish has lasted many years when people always told me paint doesn't work on a marker LOL

dyedude22

I remember baking, and paint, I guess it was yours. I dunno.

Since it's a mech, 6-10bps depending on how fast I can get going with a very tight trigger job and the egg on there. Normally I don't shoot fast on any marker except when snap shooting, then it's 2 or 3 quick shots and back in the bunker.

I can get maxed on the Victor with the ESP frame and the egg at 15bps sustained. Or at least that's what the chrono is telling me ;)

i know the gun is peiced together, but did u get that in one peice??

and if so, wat kind is it??

Doorman
08-01-2005, 04:46 PM
Front block was parted together just like the entire marker. It consists of Belsales Hollowpoint 3way, Palmers Rock LPR, Nexxus Eclipse ram. The actual block itself is just a generic chrome block.

hey i wanna know y is the tl+ ur main id take the cocker

Doorman
08-07-2005, 05:09 AM
Because it's what I'm most used to. However, I've put all the TL+ internals into an Xtra body (for the vert feed) and put the Victor internals into the TL+. I had to break my nephews trigger frame off his Sport so I put the eframe on there so I don't have an eSpyder anymore. Now that I've done all the changing around and such, I'll probably be using the cocker more.

Doorman

I like my hammer a lot, she's been really good to me :D I plan on picking up a CCM pump kit for the cocker sometime soon and I have a Trracer that should be in next week. Hopefully I can get some better pics of all the gear then :D

*Yes, even a closer pic of the Hollowpoint* ;) There's a better pic of it in the WGP forum in the marker pics thread there.

Mmmhmmm, Chipley pump kits are the best. I'm wondering, does the Hammer have a removeable barrel? If it does I'm sure it's Spyder threads and I might get a Hammer for each of my 10 Spyder after market barrels. LOL Nice collection man.

Cool, and yeah, theres a big carpet stain on the right side of the screen, lol. :D

Doorman
08-17-2005, 06:56 PM
I can't be held responsible for the stains... I took the pics at my sisters house :D

I like the CCM pump kits, they feel much more solid in the hand and are sweetly smooth. I'll have to pick one up soon.... I want to run my cocker as a convertable so I have more options on the field. And yes, the Hammer has a removable barrel that accepts any Spyder threads. I've put my J&J on there (I much prefer this barrel over any other that I've shot) and was popping darts with it.

Unfortunately the barrels that I have don't fit the PMI Trracer so I'm going to have to get a new barrel for that one too. The paint I shoot doesn't fit it well (it's a bigger bore than what I shoot). And boy howdy is that thing LOUD!! I was plicking away with it yesterday as well as my Spyders and cocker.... sooooooo much louder than any of my Spyders, which are a great deal louder than the cocker anyway.

yellowpumpguy
08-17-2005, 11:02 PM
Yeah, they're pretty loud. As far as barrels, there aren't a whole lot of options. I've seen a few on ebay, but still can't figure out what the actual threads are for them. Lucky for me, mine came with a couple after market barrels.
