I don't see this as spam.

Suggesting. Venting maybe. Wishful thinking?

It might even inspire someone to try a search. :)

point well made and i didnt mean to make it out to be such a big deal jsut an idea to stop the repetition of the same old questions. its not like im gonna go out of my wayto flame some one if it happens every once in a while but just a thought

srrry if it sounded different. proanti made a topic on rfesurection and its the same idea just so we dont have to read the same old stuff over and over again

Like I said to you in the other topic, just link the new topic to the old one if it's less than a week old.

well u have a point though and i hate seeing a million "ion vs. ____" or "98 custom vs. spyder extra" or "what upgrades for my ion" threads..... but not many people are gunna listen to u anyways, kuz most of the people that post those repeated threads are newbs to the site that dont bother looking around so they just post a question and then get mad wen every1 starts flaming them. i see questions on here today that were answered on this site 2 years ago... but people just keep asking them kuz theyre too lazy to search.

Constant threads saying "what's the best barrel I can get for under $50?" annoy me. Although I'm prolly guilty of a few repetitive threads myself....I do use the search button for a lot of stuff too though. :)

It doesn't matter if there are alot of those topics, dont like em? Dont click on the topics that say things like "A topic shootemup wont like" and "hey shootemup, dont click here its the same crap you've saw earlier"

the point i'm trying to make is that they generally will say what it's about, because as times change, new parts change, new things come around, and if we just had a place that had an article with all the best upgrades, and all the best guns and exactly what each gun should get in what order, etc etc. there wouldnt be a forum here, the forum would be absolutely and completely dead. If you haven't noticed, almost everything on this site is just questions about people's guns, asking for PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, its what the whole idea of a forum is about..

so basically... its useless to try and rid yourself of the annoying topics, your best bet is to just try and ignore them =\
