I was playing painball today with a few friends...just some one on one...and i happened to catch some paint right in the face...the splatter went through the mask into my mouth, nose and eyes...my mouth and nose i could care less about...but i had a blue tint and mild stinging to my vision/eyes even after rinsing my eyes out with water :( ...has this happened to anyone else before?? i know that the paint is non toxic and all that...but i am just curious as to if it just happened to be a perfect impact angle to splatter that way or maybe the mask i was wearing...a vforce by the way, no cracks or any kind of damage...any other possobilities?? i would like to try to prevent this from happening to my eyes again...but if it cant be helped then thats alright too...thanks for any ideas or possibilities ya'll...

Paint can easily go through vents. For those with contacts, I would suggest bringing your case and some solution with you. Paint can stay in your eye because of the contact, that's why in science labs it's important to get contacts out of your eyes ASAP if a strong chemical or base gets in them.

I've gotten hit in the mouth are a few times before and the paint tastes like crap. It doesn't look like it would taste that bad but I can't stand it!

Hey there I wear contacts when I play and I have yet to get paint in the eyes. I have a dye invision mask and I have been shot all over the mask with no paint to the eyes yet so it might of been a lucky angle shot, but make sure to carry saline solution with you so if you get paint in the eyes again you can take them out and clean them.

I don't have glass or contacts but I have gotten paint in my eye before and it stings. I feel sorry for people with contacts when it stays in there untill your clean them out with whatever you use. I carry around eye drops now anyway.

I have a PMI mask and ive never gotten paint in my eyes EVER. I wear Contacts so i carry SS every were i go. You can also put some Camo tape over the vent cracks you dont need. Mine has two side vents and a whole bunch of little holes in the front. I taped the two side ones up and i can breath fine with the reduced risk of a painted face. :D
