alright. so i just purchased a new spyder pilot acs and nitro. the thing is, i dont know how to like take apart the gun mainly, take out the acs bolt (to clean up) and the trigger (i like to mess around with the trigger)....my gun didnt come with anything that tells you idk why....i know its got the quick strip but i still dont kno how to take the bolt out, the cocking pin doesnt come out


yeah, i was the owner of a 98 custom previously, so i'm pretty clueless about spyders :mellow:

i dunno much about pilots but heres the manual online (http://kingman.com/section/support/manuals/spyder_pilot.pdf) it has a diagram of it in parts

alright....so to take the bolt out you have to remove the cocking pin or 'part RF39'...it doesn't screw off on my gun...so how are you sopposed to remove it?...it spins, so the screw at the end of the bolt can't be holding it in place, like a tippmann does.... <_<

It is held in place by friction balls. Just pull it out, it will take quite a bit of elbow grease.

Once that is out, remove the quick strip pin, but make sure you are pushing forwards on the velocity adjuster at the back. There is the large mainspring under tension in the bottom tube and you will lose pieces if you just remove the quick strip pin.

Pull it all out the back and that's the base disassembly to clean the marker. When you put it back in, make sure it is all in the right order. Keep pushing forward on the striker/bolt assembly and pull the trigger a couple times to get past the sear and you'll be all set.
