I heard that you should buy a new bolt for an Imagine when you first get it, is that neccessary? Also, I was planning to buy a new bolt anyway. What bolt do you think I should get. ACS(Anti-Chop) or other? Thx

Too many people want to purchase a new bolt for one reason or another, but they really aren't a necessity. The ACS bolt would be a fair choice if you are going to be using a weak hopper, other than that they are just another way to waste your money ;)
The function of the bolt is to put air on the ball. That's all it does. One could argue that it "chambers" the ball and such, but this has little effect besides sealing off the breach so gas doesn't escape. Personally I would recommend removing the venturi, cupping the face, and polishing the internals. I've never had a problem with ball breaks, or any bolt problems for that matter.

don't mess around w/ the acs, it's a POS, just get a shocktech delron bolt. It will be the last one you'll ever need.
