whats your favorite artist? can be the drummer, lead singer, guitarist, etc... just say who they are and why you like them (any reason)
id say brody Dalle (armstong) of the distillers. grew up in the slums of melbourne AU, dad beat her and her mom, grew to to be one of punks most influential artists... and she looks cool :)

If I was choosing based on talent, I'd say Omar Rodriguez-Lopez from TMV/ATDI.
If I was choosing based on "coolness", I'd say Agent M from Tsunami Bomb

Billy Corgan from smashing pumpkins. That guy has more meaning and tallent in one song than all of the Nsync songs put together.

The distillers rule. Love sing sing death house. Brody is one bad ###### chick.
Social Distortion's Mike Ness is an idol to me. I love that band and he has gone threw a lot. Lost a band memeber, gotten over drugs. And is an all around kick ###### singer.
Dimebag Darrel- He is one of the all time greatest guitar players of all time. When i think of legends of the stings, i think about Hendrix, Clapton, Dimebag. Life is fragile and such a great hearted person didnt deserve to die liek that. His music inspires. RIP.

No offence to dimebag (I loved Walk) but he really didn't play complex music. He was just with a really popular group. Same goes for the guys from godsmack. They need to be more complex.

Lmao read the first post man haha.... I'm not sure there are so many talented people out there and whoever said cliff burton ya he was an amazing man. One of his prolific dreams was to create a gun that shot knives. To bad he drew the wrong card that night and got the wrong place to sleep on the bus.

Christian Muenzner and Muhammed Suicmez of Necrophagist. I can honestly say that they are the best guitarists I have ever heard. Don't believe me? Go to www.necrophagist.de and click on Downloads. Even if you don't like the vocals, listen to the solos.

Piano and voice are stellar. A little slow for most people here though it seems (sigh).

You need to look up Nick Barker...he played for Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, and now Old Man's Child....he can pick up Jordan and eat him while playing the drums
however no offense to him, As I Lay Dying is a wicked band

ok Dimebag was the band. I mean they all kicked ###### but u must not be a fan of Pantera. He is one of the best guitarists of his time. I cant think of ny other guitarist better than him in metal besides KErry king and Kirk Hammet.
Primus is insane. Les Craypool is a Bassist god. U gotta see him play. Weird as hell.

Travis barker is not bad. I love the Transplants. Although Blink is a total failure, most dont know much about him. They just look at him and say, o he is in blink, he is gay. But listen to Transplants. adn o ya, I have never seen a greater front man of punk than mike ness. IMO

I hope you guys realize that Eddie Van Halen is one of the best guitarists of all time. Listen to the song eruption. That song was recorded on the spot, he wasn't even trying. That's amazing. I think Steve Perry (lead singer of Journey) was pretty talented too. And so was Eric Clapton. I'm kinda into old crap like that though. :P People could actually sing and play well back then...
