Good advice. You don't need anything to flashy for woodsball. Spyders and Tippmans are good guns.

My Tippmann A-5 w/ Flatline Barell can take about anything anyone else can dish out!

The Mongoose isn't a bad marker for woods either. As said, you don't need anything flashy, but there isn't any harm in getting a marker you like. I use my cocker in the woods periodically :D

Go with a spyder or a tippman 98. Cant go wrong with a 98 custom...If you get a spyder get a good one :)

All spyders are basically the same. Except for a few differant looks or extra features

If you get a Tippmann other then the A5 or SL-68(?) then I would deffinatly get Custom pro basic, RT or E. I would prefer the Basic, but its all up to you. If you like the Mongoose 2 then go with that. They all shoot paint at 275fps so its mainly just personal preference.

If your going to be playing woodsball I would get a Tippmann 98c or the new Tippmann 98 custom pro, if you want a double trigger and a couple of upgrades with the marker go with custom pro ;)

GET A T98C
almost essential:
Dye Boomstick/Ultralite
Response Trigger
EGG (EVLution 2 hopper)
all together, cost u about 250 for goods prices
expensive but worth it, but whatever u do get a BOOMSTICK! it is the most essential upgrade for a T98C

No none of that is even close to essential. All you need is a barrel and Co2 tank gun. I have the Custom Pro and have no upgraades except a barrel.

I use a Piranha GTI, with some mods including a 14" Progressive barrel, a must over the stock. It is a sturdy and reliable gun, with excellent accuracy. My thing is, if I choose 2 throw down on a few rounds at the speedball course I am not over thrown by trying to use a tippman against an angel. so its a trade off. the speedball gun switches to a woodsball better than woods to speedball. no need for more than one marker.

I use my ICD bushmaster BKO all the time for woodsball.
