Pacman? Dang, the Atari system came out well before Pacman. The first video game I ever played was on an Atari and it was Pong.... used to sit there for hours with my buddy watching that little blip go back and forth across the screen while holding that huge knob with the button on the side ;) Then came a whole slew of different games. Once the Arcades started stocking video games instead of just pinball games we would dump quarters like they were pennies. It was an addiction, we used to mow lawns early in the morning before the arcade opened just so we could get there and blow what money we earned that day LOL.

My fav system has always been the original NES and the games in the Dragon Warrior series. I'm an RPG/Quest style gamer.

Ah Morrowind... I like Neverwinter Nights better. I was a huge TES fan until they screwed up with Redguard. After that I've pretty much expected, and received, the same from them. Though the graphics in Morrowind are certainly much better than they were in Daggerfall :D

Pick up the Platinum edition if possible. It has the expansions and is patched to 1.64 (you'll still need to patch up to 1.65 as 1.66 is still in beta).

Once you get it running you will need the CEP (Community Expansion Pack) if you play online. It is a conglomerate hak pack that contains some great content and almost all online servers use it now. If you need help with it, drop me a line.

And now that you are ready to play online, drop by my server/persistant world in the Social section of Gamespy.... server name is Garinham (CEP) and module name is FR Garinham. It's a 500+ area world that is sure to challenge anyone of any level :D

I just saw a site where it showed all of the beta stuff, and all of the data that was left in the game. It showed pics of the the "island" in the dam, and everything.

I still love that game. Although I never beat the aztec.

Greatest Bond game ever, before EA came in and ###### everything up. I remember hearing about how they didn't take the island out for the American version, whenever I played dam I'd also zoom in on it. Aztec I had to beat with the strategy guide because I would have never gotten the pattern. Hardest cheat to earn would probably be Invincibility, Facility or whatever the 2nd board was on the hardest mode (007 mode I think) in like 2:30 minutes.

Morrowind, great game, expansion is coming out, too bad it isn't MMO-RPG or whatever there called.

Lol...

My favorite game right now is probably Starcraft. I was completely addicted to it for a while, and I still like a good game every now and them. Now I mostly just set up and easy game to watch my enemies get slaughtered by the lots. I'm not good enough to play very competitively(sp).

Also... Why is a "moved to" link for this thread showing up in the main off topic?

Super old thread ftw? lol

Favorite system is still Sega Genesis. Maybe not for the games but for the memories connected with it. Games were still pretty awesome though.

Favorite game is now WoW. Can't beat the depth, variety, and ever changing content that Blizzard adds. Just had a new patch added this last Tuesday with some cool new content.

And to respond to the two year old question someone asked me lol...I don't remember Pacman so much. I do remember playing Atari over a friends house when I was really young. I remember playing some game called Lunar Squadron or something like that where you drove this space buggy on the moon and jumped over craters. I was more of an Intellivision kid. My family owned one and it rocked. Still have the damn thing out in the garage and still works.

Well it's been a while since I've posted so my preferences have changed a little.

Favorite system is now definitely the PC.

Favorite game... Not sure if I can definitely pin that title to one particular game, but some of my favorites are Starcraft(again, +Brood War), Operation Flashpoint(again), GTA San Andreas(free roam game+++), Crysis(yes for the graphics), Rome Total War(and sequels and expansions, awesome strategy game that combines turn based and RTS), umm... I don't remember the title, but there was a game that I used to play a lot... It was a WWII fighter simulator. I think it was called WWII Fighters. It was pretty awesome I think. Planes looked good, missions were fun, plane damage was great, the difference in characteristics between planes was great(good diversity), all in all, it was a really good game from what I remember. Not a clue where it went though.

Like stealthy, it's been a while since I've posted in this thread and things have changed.

I got into Two Worlds last year about this time and it was fun until December. That's when I created a *gasp* WoW acct. Played it through until July and got to 70 at which point it got extremely boring.

Now I'm into Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. This is a fantastic game for what I'm looking for. Realm vs Realm battles, keep and fort seige/defenses, player vs player in queue scenario or open RvR (realm vs realm) battles, and a very nice PvE (player vs environment) play.

My system has changed too. I'm now running a nice 22" wide LCD. I've got a Q4-6600, 4G ram, SB Audigy sound card, and an NVidia GE-Force 9800 GT, with a Ideazon Merc illuminated keyboard.

Blasphemy.

I think I've said this somewhere else, but... Starcraft is, hands down, the best RTS of it's time(which was a long time ago), and quite possibly of all time, if you give weight the it's age when considering how good it STILL is. I imagine that when Starcraft 2 comes out, it will be the greatest RTS of today(or that day).

Though I haven't actually played Rise of Nations, so, I can't really say that...
