I have the proto EL and my friend has the Dye invision. Both are nice Masks, the main difference is that the invision has the soft flex plastic and the EL does not. Really not that big of a deal, although it is nicer. You are looking at a $50 price difference too. I like the switch EL, it gets the job done and is SUPER EASY to take apart for cleaning.

if im right, dye owns proto and so the poto el is just a dumb down version of the invision. i think the leses are the though. i have the protos and love em. nice feild of vision and super easy to clean. if you wear glases, the glases fit inside the mask to.

when i first put on my i3 it was like sex on my head but ive never tried the proto but one of my teammates has one and he likes it but the dye is more expensive
