1. Nah I never get shot there, if anything wear slider shorts .
2. Nope.... waste of time and if you cant stand the shots dont play.
3. Hells yes... you need traction to play effectively.
4. On your head.... depends on your hair, on your neck... no.
5. Ya if you like them.
6. Yup helps in sliding.
7. Same as above.
8. Nah unless your playing back in 7 or 10 man.

5. Again, i like them, but it's up to you, some dont
6. If you find yourself on your elbows anytime at all
7. Yes
8. If you shoot over 6 pods a game- so probably no.

nice way to ask, slayman... hepls everyone answer easily.... learn from it knewbs, he will get lots of polite answers, and little flaming even though some would considder chest protectors ghey.
cup?.....................sure if it doesnt bother you, i dont.. but once or twice i regretted it
cheast protector?...eh, kinda wimpy & might restrict movement
cleats?...................allways, football ones are great in woods/turf or socker ones.
bandana/do-rag?....preferance there, i wear a sock cap... kinda hot but bouncy ;)
gloves?..................i do, but it can slow down you trigger pulling some.
elbowpads?............only if your going to be crawling or sliding, not if you play stand-up style woods ball.
kneepads?.....same thing
pod packs that hold more than six pods?....only if theres a chance you will use that much... my pack is a 3-pack w/extra elastic holders for 4 more if needed (called a 3+4 pack), but i only carry 3-4 mostly.
what do you think about these things what do you need and whats over kill??
paintballs just dont hurt that much to go around w/a bunch of stuff on to "protect your self".... but to help get a bouncer here or there i have been known to do anything (super soft foam under cloths... in hat... etc.)
this is the way most people do it & it works well... look at the guys who are playing what you play... woods... city... airball... whatever, and wear what the good players are wearing (in general... add your own style of course).

1. If you have a problem with getting shot in this area, then yes. I personally don't have a problem with this.
2. Na, you'll live. Only wear one if you tend to get the crap bunkered outta ya alot. :P
3. For speedball, definantly. I don't wear 'em, but I mostly play woodsball. They would definantly help though.
4. That's a personal preference. I don't wear one, but it really doesn't matter.
5. Yes, definantly. Once you've been drilled in the hand by a 3-burst from 5 feet you'll definantly want some. (Had that experience a couple months ago. Lol.)
6. Ya, good for sliding.
7. Also good for sliding, as well as if you play in the woods, keeps you from hurting yourself kneeling on any painfull objects.
8. Unless you play back on a big team, more than six is overkill.

1. Ive worn one ever since i got shot there, if you get shot there and you dont wear one after theres something wrong with you or your a chick.
2. Balla Please!!!
3. Yeah for tourny, but for woods i wear combat boots.
4. Sockhat at tourny, hood at woods.
5. Yes always Full finger at tourny, half finger at woods.
6. Nope never on my belly but i might start wearing them because its one less thing you have to worry about injuring.
7. Yes Yes Yes If i dont then i regret it at the end of the day BIG time.
8. I only wear 4 140 Rounders thats all ive needed.

CUP - yea... getting shot there is no fun
CHEST PROTECTOR - noo, just for wussies and women (they've got somethin 2 protect)
CLEATS - yea, especially if playing in mud (you probably will)
BANDANA - naaa, a hat backwards is fine
GLOVES - yea, they help
ELBOWPADS - nope
KNEEPADS - u don't need them, but they are integrated on PB pants
POD PACKS - three or four will be plenty

I wouldnt wear any of that except maybe the cleats unless you cant handle pain. For the pack, its all about experience and how much paint you fling. Buy a pack on how much you shoot in a game.
