My brother and I are just entering into the paintball hobby. We both just got Spyders( Elite and an Extra) to get us started. We are both looking for the perfect barrel for range and accuracy. We play mainly woods ball. Both of our guns are pretty much stock. We have used the tippman 98 Custom with the flat line barrel, and we were pretty impressed. Is there anything equivilent or anything that anybody recommends?

depends what you are willing to pay for a barrel. If you what it for cheap go with a SP progressive if you what something better then that go with an all-american. I started out with an all american and I loved it.

I have a teardrop and it is a great barrel and its cheap, around $40. there is also the J&J ceramic which is a self cleaning barrel that you can get for a little cheaper. but if you get a barrel go with a length between 11" and 14". any longer wont help with accuacy.

wait so what barrel are you getting? The All-American? You should try somebody's gun that has a Teardrop on it. They are pretty good. So are CP though.

I agree. A lot of sites reccomend Teardrops for Spyders.
