Where in Italy? I am moving to Northern Italy (Vicenza) in about 8 months. I am looking for as much information on places to play right now. I can't handle 3 years with-out paintball. Any information would be great. Thanks

The field will be located in the Aviano area. which is only about an hour and a half away from vicenza. You are Army if i am correct. I am still talking with City Hall and working on all legal documents and like I said above hopefully open in April. I will keep posting info on the status and keep everyone informed. Oh by the way, GO AIR FORCE!!

Yes, I am Army. I have found atleast one field in Avenao(sp?) is this that one? or a completely new one? I will be there sometime in around Sept-ish. Thanks for the info, also could I get some info on the laws for markers and what not. I have found Germany has some pretty strange ones. THanks again.

I'm working with my lawyers to get more info on the markers now but go ahead and bring the marker. Nope we are talking about a completely new field going up almost in the heart of Aviano. As of right now there are no problems with bringing your markers to Italy, don't put them in the base armory though!!!! I reiterate, do no put your marker in the base armory! I've finally found my terrain I was looking for and now just waiting on the City to say go!!!!

this is the deal with paintball guns in Italy, they are not illegal because they do not conform into the definition of a arme comune (firearm). Far as US military you can buy paintball guns off the internet and have them sent directly to your PSC Box, but there are very few places that actually sell paintball guns in Italy. I will be the only store within atleast an hour drive. I am working on getting all paintball guns defined as toys, so that people will be able to import them for sale. Right now I am still waiting on City Hall to get back to me with a reponse but as of right now Mid April is what I am looking at for a opening date. I was told that they will decide on the 14th whether to allow me to open the fields or not. If that does not go through I have a second site that I will propose. If all that does not go through I already have permission from the city of Roveredo to open an indoor field but the problem is that it will take atleast another 6 months for the site to be prepared for use. As os right now I am pushiong ahead with the Aviano site and then in the future also open up the Roveredo site. I will keep everyone posted on the status of the fields and if you have any questions or requests email me at trulysadistik69@yahoo.com or on this forum. Thanks for everyones support and hopefully I will be seeing you all mid April.

Actually I have gotten the approval from Aviano. The site that we were looking at is taken becuz of a communist festival that they hold here in Aviano. The site in Roveredo, I have been talkin wit the owner and he has been in and out so it's hard to do business wit some1 when they don't show up 2 appointments. So right now I am looking for other possible sites. I got a tip on a hot spot in Roveredo and haven't had the chance 2 hit it up yet but next week sometime if I can get free I am gonna go talk with them and hopefully lay down the foundation of what I want 2 do. Sorry for takin so long to reply but I have been extremely busy wit other business and other projects that I plan to bring to Aviano or should I say Italy.

FYI...when you do get the field open you should look into having the MWR (outdoor rec) schedule some games. A lot of fields are popong up in Italy all of a sudden. You should also post at pbnation.com
