View Full Version : What's a good google system over glasses?

I have been looking at a lot of different googles lately to go with my paintball gun and I need something that can fit comfortably over my glasses. Without my glasses I'm basically blind so I have to have them on while playing, otherwise I would just get painted up. The only ones that I heard fit over glasses nicely are the V-Force Shield Thermal's. Are those any good? What are some other google systems that fit nicely with glasses? I tried on my friend's cheapo googles that came with his Tippmann 98 Custom pack and there's no way something like that will work for me. I could really care less about the price just as long as they work and fit nice, looks are always a plus too.

V-force sheild works well i heard from a friend. I dont wear glasses so i never really have paid attention however. But i did hear my friend mention those helped with his glasses.

Best thing to do is go to a proshop with the glasses you will be wearing in the game and try on some masks that are already open. Just tell the guy working your problem and you would like to try some on. Then purchase at the shop so you dont just use the shop for personal tests.

Dye Invisions I heard fit well over glasses. Along with pretty much all V-force masks too.

hmm, I dont think there are any pro shops in my area. Is there a site where I can find the closest one, I never seen it on pbreview.com. I could look for fields, but not shops. Otherwise the closest thing to a shop in my area is you guessed it Walmart! But I'm not buying any PB gear there.

what you need is a prescription paintball lens, bifocals so you can see if you gun is on. Or trifocals so you can also spot those guys at the back of the feild.

I wear glasses under my V Force...it works but both goggles and glasses fog. I know it is near impossible to function when your blind. The V-Force fit fine but to date nothing works against the fogging. I live in the North east and we play in the rain and snow. the goggles still fog. I would NOT recommend this however I am going to try to use CQB (close quarter battle) goggles and a shemagh or a balaclava under them to protect my face and ears. I'll let you know about the fogging. Good Luck.

i like the proto els and my friend who also has them got them because they fit over his glasses. he likes them alot. the best thing is that the leses come out in like 30 seconds.

Try some profilers...The lens is nice and round so it will probably be pretty comfortable. Your best bet would be to go to stores and try the masks on.

I have them and they fit well over my glasses too. Plus they're only 30 dollars and really really nice goggles.

My friend is a really intense paintball player and wears glasses. He wears a proto Axis. It fits well over glasses and it gives nice bounces and looks cool.
