i just got an ion and i was wondering if i should be perpared for an problems or any upgrades i should buy to get ahead of the game

I haven't heard to much about problems, but if I was you I would keep looking for problem reports. In the past Smart Parts seems to have released some markers without doing enough testing. Maybe they did their job this time.

Upgrade wise, I'm not sure if the Ion has a huge spectrum of items available yet. Maybe a new barrel, I'm not sure how the stock one shoots.

I wouldn't bother upgrading anything really. Get us a review and field test ASAP though please. :D

The ion is a great gun to play with, and its a pretty good gun all along, until it comes to cleaning the darn thing. I can't even describe how those morons designed how to take it apart. I've only used mine twice, and took apart the other day for the first time, and the back screw is stripped.

mines broke 1 time. i got it first time i played wit it the wires for the battery pulledd but if u cheange fire modes watch for when u put ur wires back in because they can get cause in the trigger box n break
