Your favorite paintball mags

While the one I read the most is easily APG, I really, really like PB2X. And Splat(t?), the photography is just so uber. :lol:

I used to be a writer for P2P when it was around, but they weren't making any money. Otherwise splat does the job well as long as I can find myself in it somewhere.

I find the articles in PB2X to be better, but APG a little thicker. APG gives you more bang for your buck, but PB2X is better wuality IMO. So PB2X gets my vote.

i just got into paintballing so the only magazine i have is the March 2005 issue of APG.

My guess on a reason why they dont is because their mag is a worldwide mag and people would call for a item and it would already be sold to some guy half way around the world.

I have a subscription to APG and Facefull. I like Facefull better. IMO it's aimed towards the more experienced player, where as APG is more for the beginner. I have read Splat and find that it's only redeeming quality is the pictures. I dislike the fact that they use sex appeal to sell their magazine and it seems like they're trying to be the Maxim of paintball magazines. When I read a paintball magazine I want useful articles about playing styles, tournament info, or new products...not pages of half naked women. But that's just me...

I totally agree with you about the APG/FaceFull thing and your right that Splats only good quality is the pics but what guy doesn't want to see a hot lady in a bikini with a sexy gun?? besides you (no offense)

This is why I subscribe to Maxim. I have nothing against looking at sexy women, it just doesn't belong in a paintball magazine. And since when are guns sexy? They are inanimate objects.
