i was just wondering what it is like owning advanced spyders

works nothing like a spyder... just happens to share some dimentions. a timmy is a lot closer to a bushmaster or some other electro-pneumatic ram/stiker gun. spyders need heavy modding to work like a timmy... so timmy owners dont know at all what its like to own an advanced spyder... unless they also own a new vision electra or somthing. so stop trying to burst peoples bubbles when you are not sharp enough to.

And what do you shoot? a tippmann. I wouldn't be suprised if you had never even held a timmy in your life, and you just read some post made by some ignant fool saying the timmys are hi end spyders. There is nothing better than a timmy. No angel, no ICD gun, no Ego, no shocker, Nothing.

yes, bob long used a spyder body to make the prototype timmys.. but the body is all they have in common, thats why i sai "they share some dementions" cause the ram tube froma a timmy will fit in some spyders... but they dont work ANYTHING alike... not even a little. so they are not "built like them".... at all.

Because you can't take care of yours. My old spyder worked great.

My timmy works great too. The only reason I don't like timmys, is I feel like if I dive, I have to protect my gat. It's just to perrrty.

Ok so enlighten me what kind of gun do you shoot because I'm sure whatever it is it's nowhere near the quality of a timmy.

no i would not buy a angel but.... i do shoot a octane shocker looking into a dm5 so i am not making fun or your guns and i beleive a shocker is better quality then a timmy cause ive known people that have owned timmys and disliked them verymuch

Intimidators have some of the same body demensions as Spyders due to the fact that Bob Long made replacement vertical feed spyder bodies. A timmy is nothing like a spyder in operation. The only thing they have in common is a stacked-tube, poppet style marker.

A spyder uses a hammer, with a spring that is compressed behind it to push the hammer foward to open the valve. A timmy uses air to push foward a ram to open the valve. Timmies have a higher degree of controllability over dwell time, the time the breach is open, etc than a spyder.

I perfer my Timmy over my DM5. It just feels better and is a little faster. Both have Predator 5.0 code in them, I guess the Timmy has a higher cylce rate.

...well if your talking semi, it could be just a better trigger on the timmy... or a bit of bounce... not the illegal type.. just that sweet spot gun bounce. but uncapped-ramp they should both be limmited by your hopper i would think.

Yea, I like the feel of Timmys, just the same as my DM5. I dont really care which I have.
