GM motor announced that their sales have dropped about 22%.

My dad's Ranger, which is a 1990 5 speed manual transmission has hardly given any problems. Brakes, clutch, starter solenoid, and the timing belt. The Catylitic converter had to be replaced due to leaking but no real big problem. The thing in 16 years old with just the standard oil change and it still runs strong.

dude... if im not mistaken... chrystler owns jeep... so that means that they have GM motors. and no jeeps came with ford motors, but you can get a conversion plate and put it in there. also ford makes a turbo 350 tranny. i think the origonal post was saying that they were made with em... tard.

also... what restrictors? no they dont, they just have high restriction parts, you cant just remove a plate. you can get more power out of it by adding a new manifold or something less restrictive... but you cant just take off something and get more power. i had an 89 s10, its FI, there is nothing you can do to get more power unless you actualy do some mods to the engine. i know what im talking about, il bet iv dealt with more cars than 90% of the people on this site... now thats a reasonable stat!

gm owns chrystler, and chrystler baught jeep about 1990, before that jeeps were their own company. they NEVER had ford engine, i dont know where you got that from. and ford blocks with chevy parts?! what are you smoking? most ford parts arent even compatable with chevy parts, especialy blocks. you still have no clue what you are talking about... as i said, i deal with cars, i own 6 (personaly with the titles in my name). and i would still like to know how to "get under the truck" and take off the govenor... last time i checked, the intake was on top of the motor under the hood. please tell me how you go about "timkering" with it. details please.

I like the Ford GT and I think the mustangs are awesome, but if i had a chose on buying an SUV or Truck i would go with the Chevy's.

The Z06 doesn't suck...thats why it got tested against the new Porsche 911 Twin Turbo..and the new Ferarri F430...the only thing that the Corvette lacked was braking issues and interior wasn't up to par with the Porsche and the Ferrari....it topped out at 205 on the Autobahn..it says it will only go 198...but if you read the article on it in Car and Driver you will see exactly what I am sayin...I pull for a Ford in Nascar..but there is nothing stock on it from Ford except the emblem.....Chevy is the way to go...FORD well at least they circled the Problem....
