Haha, that is awesome! So much for masks back then. Ski goggles? <_< It's really cool to see how much the sport has changed back then. Those tanks on thier backs are huge!

I just heard Bob Long's name, so I'm back to the show. Thanks for the vid.

i played those fields so much... those were the days. 15 min games ha ha ha! back guys carying 1500 rounds.. & 114 ci. tanks. it was plenty safe to, those are jt goggles (or vents or scotts) just like modern ones but no masks... just a fat lip now & then, but you could hear a twig break at 100 feet & yell clearly to your team. ha ha... scroll down about 8 posts on this thred & thats me at the same tourney... (lowly 5 man though). http://www.paintballtimes.com/forum/forums...tmode=1#M173470 (http://www.paintballtimes.com/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=16816&posts=17&highlight=world%20cup%20&highlightmode=1#M173470)

they were the best for the time... but yah, like beginers compared to the pros of today, hell take those iron men straight out of 94' and drop them in an airball field (w/dm5s or what ever new guns they want...) & most semi pro teams would smash them in seconds.

really cool...and interesting to see how far this sport has come in the past 11 or 12 years. Compare it to baseball, which has been the same since the 40's and paintball is growing really fast.

Nice vid.

Yeah but put them on a field now that they played on (pretty much woods was pro back then) and with pro's now and watch them pros of 2005-06 get owned by a bunch of 94's hahah that would be great...Isn't it hard to believe that is where paintabll was born was woods??!?!?!

I don't believe they would own. They played awfully loose from their bunkers and I don't believe they would be able to shoot the new markers very well.

Lol, yeah it would be funny to go back with something crazy. Go back to 94 with a fully customised a-5 with all the milsim hookups you can find, put an apex/flatline on it . they would ###### themselves.
