Ion upgrade???

Hey guys whats up? Ok, I just got a new Ion and it is really nice. I have noticed that alot of people get new barrels for there guns. I bought a new barrel for my old JT 6.0 and it did not change any thing. Just the lenght. SO would a new barrel for the Ion add some rang ? I hate when I have to lob a ball. I got the new trigger for it (ball bearing style) Any cheep upgrades for the ion out there that are worth a darn? Let me know guys.

you probably got a poor quality barrel the barrels do greatly increase accuracy but other upgrade you can get are a clamping feedneck, new reg if you like which also greatly increases accuracy and thats about all you can upgrade on an ION

u should get n2 or air and yes definally get a feed neck clamping cuz it doesnt fit for like any hopper

How important is the air system? I have an anti syphon co2 tank right now, its cheeper to fill and to buy. Would a "lower end" nos tank still be better? why? I can get all day co2 for 5 bucks...

what would you buy next for the ion? (have new trigger)
barrel? air? grips? regulator? somthing under a 100 bucks

the problem with CO2 is its consstancy but in regards to what to buy next i would suggest barrel kit first, air then reg (new reg won't help much if your using CO2 still lol) and you can throw grips in anywhere there as most expensive grips i have seen were like $30

other than the fact that is a spyder threaded barrel Teardrops and Progressives are nice beginner barrels if you do get one make sure it's impulse threaded otherwise your gonna be wondering why its not working Impy threads does not equal spyder thread
