alrite, when i was playing paintball last week, if tipped my omen 2.0 so the barrel would be pointing to the ground, a paintball would slide out( just the one about to be fired) it doesnt affect my play, im just wondering if its a problem or the paintballs are to small.

if it happens more than a few times... like more than one in 5... its too small a paint or too big a barrel, whichever. but its normal on closed bolt guns that dont have barrel sizer kits.

yah, my cocker & pump is the same way... worse w/a pump cause you only get one shot sometimes.

that really stinks if you have a pump

ok, i just did a mod to my dads cocker barrel to help stop this problem... first i figured out the point just ahead of where the ball sits when the bolt is forward, then marked this point on the barrel, then i figured out dead center straight up when the barrel is screwed all the way in. then drilled a hole the same size as the diamiter of an o-ring i found (about 1/16") then cut the o-ring in half and put it just through the hole so it sticks into the barrel just a bit. then superglued it from the outside. once dry i cut off the excess on the outside.. & smeared a little more superglue on. this should stop the ball from rolling down the barrel even if its a little small... and the o-ring is flexable enough to not break the ball (i hope) i tested w/a ball & it seemed to work but i need air to test properly. i will post here if it works well or not.

^^that would probably put some sort of spin on the ball, wouldn't it?

Maybe a tiny bit, but it wouldn't even be noticeable. Its like single detent guns.

Yeah but, on single detent guns the bolt pushes the ball past the detent before the air pushes it out of the barrel. But there would be very little, you could even make your own flatline ;)

Your paint-to-bore match is to small for your barrel. Try using larger paint. What barrel are you using?

probably the stock driver

ya. why wouldn't you use the driver. its a great barrel, and it comes with the marker.

It is a great barrel, but since the omen is closed bolt, many upgrade to a barrel kit(pipe, freak) so they can make sure they get a good paint-to-bore match.

I don't know, but some people change the barrel out. Just get larger paint (big ball or marbs) it should fix your problem

well i tried it today, it works perfectly. im not sure how long it will stay glued in there w/paintballs hitting it constantly, but for 200 rounds it worked fine & none rolled out even though they were smaller than the bore. also if the paint was bigger.... like a perfect bore match or even worse a bit big it might cause a problem, but i need to find some bigger paint to see.
