Hard Rock To be Ban?

Listen to this! : NBC announced today that the M.A.H.R. (Mothers Against Hard Rock) Foundation is trying to outlaw The Used and My Chemical Romance from 45 states across America. They are petitioning for it as we speak and if they get more signatures then those against it, then the bands (as well as many others including From First To Last, Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, and Darkest Hour.) will be banned from most of the United States. If you are against taking away the music we know and love please sign this petition. Thank You.

I have no idea about ya'll but im going to stand up for my music...This is Bull crap they can't ban something like this... Stand up for what you belive in boys and girls.Even if you dont like Rock. IF your a rap fan if they somehow did get away with this you'll be next. So stand up and petition.

That's really lame. I'm not a big fan of bands like Avenged Sevenfold and such, but I don't think they should be banned. That's infringement upon some civil rights I believe. Like you said though, if they get banned, others could be next. I signed the petition to keep it as should every one else.

you cant be banned from a whole state... that does'nt even make sense. a state legislature could decide not to let a certain band play at any state owned venues... but there are many more private owned that state... so who cares. and it would be almost imposable to get a state to take up such a cause unless the band in question like... sacrificed live babbies on stage or somthing, sounds like a bunch of sillyness.

here in the USA we have this thing called the constitution. in this constitution there is a thing called the bill of rights. and in here there is a first amendment. the first amendment garrentees that the will be no real censorship of anything. we have the freedom of speech, and media. this will never happen

i dont think everything can be leagle and moral but most of it is. that is why there is a second amendment.

if the government gets out of hand we can take care of them. helps us avoid tyrany in the government and makes sure we arnt defenceless against enemys, or violent riots *cough*france-muslim-riots*cough*

Exactly, the second amendment is kinda like a shield for the rest of the constitution. Like I like to say: The compromise of the second amendment(or any for that matter) will be met with a wall of lead.

Sorry, but Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, the Used, My Chemical Romance, etc should be banned. They just suck soooo bad. I would like to join up so I could add Rush to the list.
If the list Iron Maiden or Iced Earth was included, though, things would be different.
The ban won't get passed. The dudes in Washington stood up for GTA, why not crappy emo music.
