Anyone Like Punk?

I love the misfits, anti flag, dead kennedy's and stuff. However minor threat and the circle jerks really dont place to high on my list though.

punk is preety much dead, if you like the same drum beat super fast in all songs, some chords, maybe a couple of scales if your lucky, then punks for you.

I wouldn't really call Avenged Sevenfold Emo, maybe their newer stuff is softer but I don't think it's what people consider Punk-Emo, like Good Charlotte.

MISFITS....they are one of the best bands out there....i suppose you could support the idea of punk being dead or it's not dead....i love Misfits, Ramones, The Exploited, Dropkick Murphy's.......HATE Green Day, Good Charlotte, NOFX, Simple Plan...etc.......i lean towards more of Metal than i do Punk though.......however, Beethoven and Mozart could beat them up anyday :P

Well u abviuoly havent heard of Dropkick murphys, Social D, and Misfits. Dreopkick is like Boston Punk but has amazing lyrics and good music. Social distortion is punk but mixed with liek rock and roll and blues. Misfits is one of the best punk bands ever. They have influecned so many bands. Metallica loves them. and look where they are today. Ask any punk band and they are bound to know about the misfits. dont judge music just cuz of the other ###### out there. These are true punk rock. Not the underground loud screeching ######. So actually listern to them and stop being a bunch of Hardcore lovin ######.

YEs i am starting to branch out. But hey im only 14 and can appreaciate music. Nofx, punk but not the best. Blink, no way. Greenday, ###### no. I love poeples opinions and i think its great, but please do not bash/flame my music. when someone talks about music that means a lot to me, it pisses me off. Especiually if ur like untouchable and killerchick and anyone else liek evil gunner, i highly doubt those sk8r ###### are listening to this, but they are amazing. I hate sk8er punk. Its diffeent. so please dont bash flame my music.
