pump is so great. I bought a tracer to play other Pumps at my local feild i get murderd but it makes me better marksman. you appreciate your roots more

Here's to all those crazy hardcore pumpers.

We're sportsmen and women who are just out there to have fun. We're not superhuman or super anything, we just want more challenge out of the game than regular semi auto play can offer. So when we show up at your local field don't go running off screaming "The pumps are coming, the pumps are coming!". Just remember, we can tag you from 100 yards in a stiff wind, while it's raining, with foggy goggles, in one shot. So running wont' help. Why not join us instead? :D

I guess this is a good time to explain my insanity, since I'm in the spotlight for a little while. Basically I started playing paintball in 2000(7th grade). First time I went to a field was a scenario game in 2002. Then last November I finally decided to turn pump. I had seen a few guys playing pump and they were plenty good, I was really impressed when they were on the speedball field. In late November I bought a Trracer from a guy for $20 and put away my $400 worth of Spyder(it's still in the closet). Played with that for a long time. Really started to progress in the ways of the pump. In December I ordered my Chipley, my 17th birthday present. I think Dad was really happy with that choice, it wasn't as harsh on his wallet. LOL :lol: Now that I've been playing pump for 6 months, me and couple of my pump pals are starting a team. We're going to play in a local 3 man first. If we do well, my pump mentor(he got me started) wants to jump right into the CFOA. He's been playing since the early 90's and he thinks we'll do fine, so I'm like I'm game. I get hassled alot at my local field and pretty much where ever I go to play. Everyone thinks I'm going to get lit up, but they discover up close(bunkered) that that is a wrong impression. Now I guess I need to explain my name. I went to Black River paintball for the first time about a month ago. There were a bunch of noob Ion's, that's a normal thing now eh, anyway we were playing and I kept whipping em', even the "good" team guys. Nobody knew my name and could only pick me out by my yellow DYE C4 jersey. So when they'd see me, they were all about saying "the yellow pump guy's over there". Later I joked on them and was like "I'm one guy with a pump!" what are yall so worried about. Anyways that's pretty much me. And to add more, I have a mowhawk, and listen to Metallica, and I want to be an Army Special Forces Detachment Commander(officer). There you go. The crazy yellow pump guy. :)

Hey i play with yellowpumpguy alot. I am one of his freinds and some kinda distant relative. I've seen this guy TRY and get bunkered by a matrix then they run a circle around a can and him get the matrix and him not even get hit. This guy turned me pump but i play semi every now and then. I warn all who thinks that pumps sucks that this guy will give you a run for your money and then some. He can probably whip about any semi. I joke with him about him playing Oliver Lang and handing it to him.

I'm sure he's good, but that's only when he's playing with his team. Never seen him play any 1v1. That's alot different and I bet he never played pump before. If he played pump some he might get even better. I'd be crazy with a Shocker too.

Thats an oximoron. If someone bunkers you you'll get bunkered. Duh! People get bunkered no matter what marker they have. I have a very high respect for *most* pump players, possibly all if i got to know them. Yes, even you bax.

I was playing with a team one day during their practice and I was using my Trracer. My Chipley was getting worked on in CA. I bunkered their best guy twice and I still got him when he tried to bunker me. He was the last guy and I was moving on him and I heard him running to my bunker so I just ran around the other side and got him in the back. Though I have been bunkered before, but never when I was playing pump, all when I used to play semi. I don't sit around long enough to get bunkered anymore.

Hey Tippmann07, I'm in New Bern right now for a few weeks, so it'll be a little while before we can get together to play at BR. I'm looking for a field up here to play at. It should be fun.
