ironmen are in pro in the NXL different league.. the only reason we were not pro in nppl is we didnt play that league last year. This year we won the who thing and got bumped back up to pro were they should have put us...

so your friend was mostly right.

why exactly is there normal PSP x-ball and then a leauge PSP owns with a different set of x-ball teams?

Are you asking about the NXL, Open Div., Div I, II and III?

The NXL is the franchised pro league. The open is for the non franchised pro teams. The Divisionals are for anyone who believes they can compete in those catagories. They roughly compare to Am, Novice and Rookie on the national level.

The different divisions give everyone a chance to compete in a Xball tourny on a national level who would like too.

A franchised team is a official member of a incorporatated (legaly trademarked and registered) league. It gives the team members/owners certain rights and privileges within the league and out. They are elligible for what ever benefits the league provides and to compete for any prizes that are offered within the league. The franchise also gives them legal right to the names and other legal properties pertaining to the team/league.

Nonfranchised team are all others that are not official members of the league.

I am sure I left something out of that explanation. Hopefully someone will wander through and fill in the gaps.
