New DM5 Set Up

I am new to the DM5 and I was wondering if it is pretty much good to go out of the box or are there some known set ups that I should start off with. Like Dwell, Debounce, trigger tips and such.

Let me add that I already have a HaloB w/v board and a 68/4500 LP tank. I am looking for help with the marker settings like the regs and electronics.

So far I cant get the stock trigger any closer then a 1/4" pull is this normal or can I get an aftermarket that can get closer then this?

You should definately be able to set the trigger down to the MM in pull and post activation. Take off the grip frame, make sure the wires are unplugged. Check to see if anything is binding the trigger up. IF not switch the little screws that adjust the trigger. I have done this and the adjustments changed. This might allow you to get closer. If the trigger is really hard to pull back then you might need to file down the side of the trigger where it is in the frame. We have instructions and pics of this procedure on matrixowner.com.

Thanks for the info My problem was the factory put to much Lock Tight that looks like paste and was as hard as concrete. I ended up taking a pick and scraping it out for about an hour now it works fine.

Save up for the dye UL frame. The frame thats on the Dm6. It will be uber light with better grips and trigger, and a great stock board with some different modes. (psp, nxl, and a couple others)

Barrel= great
feedneck=great
inline reg.= great

Only other thing I can think of is either a new bolt(evolve)or to a mod to the bolt to get great efficancy.
