ion or autococker

i just joined a team and i dont know wich gun i should upgrade to. i was thinking of an ion or the 2004 vertical feed autocock. the only problem is that i dont know if i can take good care of the auto cocker. wich gun do you think i should get?

if you have any doughts about being able to care for the autococker then i would highly suggest you go with the ion.

you shouldnt get an autococker if you cannot care for it properly. well, actually, you shouldnt get any marker if you cannot care for it properly. an autococker takes a high level of care though. so its really your choice. if you want to take the time to care for it then i would suggest the autococker, if you want an easier marker to maintain then i would get the ion. even the ion needs care though.

what kind of play are you going to be doing. I would prefer the auto cocker to me it has a better feel than an ion

actually cockers require very very little maintanance. as long as u dont let your little sister go at it with a hammer and a circular saw...

i didnt mean just more keep up. i meant they have more moveing parts and things like that. they are easier to break.

ion. will have way less problems. cockers are very tempermental. if you are ready to have to do alot of work, then go for the cocker. but an ion will be way faster and shoots ok in the accuracy range.
i personlly would go for the cocker because for one, i hate the ion trigger pull, and there are alot more upgrades for a cocker as of now.

you know a lot about ions considering they only shoot 17

The Cocker would be a good choice. Once you learn how to maintain it properly, which isn't hard, it'll be very nice. You can always Eblade it later, which is better than any Ion.

Considering they do take very little maintenence. Unless you mess with it while it works fine than you should have no problem. I would go cocker b/c I like the feel of them.

ions not the only 1 theres the diablo wrath and im guessin the b2k with pds can shoot over 18 bps the ion is not the greatest gun out there

You want to buy a Cocker? ill sell you my 2003 VF Red/Black atomic acid washed cocker for 250...i've only shot 2 cases threw it...its suction timed too...for an extra 25 ill give you a J&J ceramic barrel also...i love this gun but being taht i just bought a shocker i cant have two guns...not enough $$$ so i gotta sell it...let me know

2k4 cocker any day. Cockers dont require all that much matinence just keep them clean and make sure you dont drop it in a river and u will be fine.Plus with the cocker upgrades are easy and there are plenty of them.Ive had my 2k4 for about a year now and i wouldnt trade it for any kind of sp marker(its ebladed).go with the cocker u wont be dissapionted.

well if you're looking for a fast electro marker an e-bladed cocker would be my choice but they cost more.

B2K4 = faster than 17bps, Wrath 20bps, Electra 30bps (supposedly), Odyssey O2 = unlimted ROF, Evil Omen = 25+ bps
